LL's new rules with Openspace sims, and the lack of communication on their part as to modification to this ruling, has forced us to rollback a sim conversion. Four OS sims were converted back to one full prims sim, at their expense.


In trying to keep sailable waters, at the least possible cost for everyone, we will be renting Mutiny Bay as 3x 1/4 sim parcels (16384 m² each). The prim count for each parcel is 3750 prims. The monthly tier will be set at 30,000L/m. Such way of dividing the sim will give you the same prims, and the same monthly tier as an OS sim, but unfortunately, 1/4 of the surface to build on. Nonetheless, it still offers plenty of room for privacy, and will offer much less lag than an OS sim can achieve.

As with all our sims, modifications to terraforming and full manager rights are always available. Contact us online to discuss your needs.

Just in time for the Halloween Season the Tower Of Terror is ready and waiting for you , if you dare. We tried to find medical staff to have on hand for the faint of heart but no such luck. Enter at your own risk. Be prepared for fun surprises, prizes and more. This is the kick off to our Halloween Weekend Parties.



Five Floors of haunted sights await the visitor and be sure to try every pose. At least one intrepid visitor was left behind poor soul .

Linda Blair loaned out her bedroom set and a must see is a her mirror. For those seeking more permanent lodgings the cemetery awaits as do the crypts. Play dodge em on the final floor so you do not end up on the floor. Don't loose your head!

BARBARY COAST ESTATE

The Barbary Coast Estate is located in a confederation of estate owners.
As of Sept 21st, 2008, our estate includes 9 sims, all sailable.

We provide all facilities you would expect in a well managed and secure estate, from rentals for residential, commercial, financial, and sailing needs, to entertainment.


OUR SIMS

Mutiny Bay - Our MAIN location, provides rentals for residential and commercial use, boat slips rentals, Mutiny (Pub), and all the required information on our estate and services can be found at the main landing point.


Shipwreck Bay - The pirate in you will find itself back to the 17th century, either living on a galleon, shopping on the market strip, or sailing its way across the sinuous bay. Residential and commercial rentals, free tour-boats, Scarlet Queen - Rum & Ale House (games, podcast, pirate bash), church, and lookout with cannons to protect your territory.


Rum River - Residential rentals ONLY. Calm and peaceful retreat with a small river crossing over. Outside fireplace, and poses on trees and bridges to relax with your friends and loved one.


Port Royal - Our sailing center offering all the information on the subject, our Yacht club, and boat slips rentals.


Treasure Cove - the financial heart of the estate covers your needs for office space and investing. It hosts the Capital Stock Exchange (CapEx), the NIC Conference Center, and the SL Reports financial newspaper offices, to name a few.


Marooned Isle - the home of Sara Designs - sculpted low prim furniture at the best price around.


Our last 3 sims, Bonny Bay, Plunder Island, and Smugglers pass, are in the making, and mainly aimed at sailing.
Smugglers Pass is an openspace sim rented in whole or divided as islands.
Bonny Bay will hold a crescent shaped island providing boat slips rentals, and light residential.
Plunder Island is currently only water. Being a full prim sim, it can be rented in whole or in part, and can accommodate for very large ships mooring rentals.


ENTERTAINMENT

Mutiny (Pub), a large pub built out of a pirate ship for large events. Djs every weekdays with the best blues and rock around, Live stage for performers, and special events (to be announced). Join the Mutiny group! It's free!

Scarlet Queen - Rum & Ale House, is a tavern with indoor/outdoor events: games such as chess, checkers, backgammon are setup inside; Saturday eve Pirate Bash for dancing in your best pirate outfit (prizes for best outfit); and podcast streaming of The Scarlet Queen adventures on Wednesdays and Sundays around the outdoor fireplace.

Barbary Coast Yacht Club - Swimsuits, sun, and Pina Colada on the terrace anyone? Sailing information on boats creators, sailing classes, boat slips rentals, and friendly people!

Treasure Quests - Held weekly on many sims. Explore around and follow the clues! Free gifts.


OTHER FACILITIES

Mariners Church - Located on top of the hill on Shipwreck Bay, a place to rest your aching soul, or gather with friends and relatives to say "Yes, I do!" to your loved one.


Harbour Master's Cabin - a satellite site near the lighthouse, offering maps, and sailing info.


Mainstreet Unlimited, a virtual company based in Second Life®. We provide residential and commercial rentals, as well as many services such as sim construction and development, terraforming, custom built houses and stores, etc.
